I have been making your recipe for years! My mom and grandma used to make the best pea soup when I was little. They have both been gone for years and I didn’t have their recipe. I found yours I think back in 2010, and it brought me right back to my childhood. I have received so many compliments over the years for your recipe. So thank you, its absolutely delicious and heart warming in so many ways! Its my go to pea soup recipe and always will be!

Good Stuff! I was going to throw ham bone & meat out. I’m so glad I put in the freezer. It’s so good I will take some to my mom! (She’s a great cook.)

I just made this this past weekend. It was AMAZING. My boyfriend’s 4 yr. old son ate it and liked it, so I was really impressed. The only thing I have to note is that it took 8 cups of broth instead of 6 as listed in your recipes. Had I not added this, it would have been too thick and burned to the bottom (it was already starting to stick by the time I caught it but it didn’t actually burn before

it’s too bad that the sound of pea soup turns so many people off since it’s usually really tasty. if you like peas. and i do. 🙂
