Triple Chocolate Cookies

Triple Chocolate Cookies

Next up on my kids’ teachers’ gift plates (first was the Lemon and Blueberry Bars with Coconut Crust) are these rich and decadent cookies. I am certain they are delicious because I managed to save a few for my kids and husband and they all moaned in delight while they ate them for dessert. These cookies were a snap to make and made the house smell amazing while they baked. They are sure to please any chocolate lover.

  1. I made these last night. My daughter said they were better than the ones at the restaurant that prompted the recipe search. My husband said they were good, but too cakey. They didn’t flatten out much. I am good at following recipes, but not so good at modifying them. What ingredient do I need to adjust to make a flatter cookie?

    1. I’ll check it out. Thanks!  And I guess I’ll subject my family and co-workers to endless taste-testing until I get it right. Thanks again!

  2. These are ridiculous. I have been searching for a double/ triple -whammy chocolate chip cookie recipe for a long time and THIS. IS. IT. Thanks! My husband is going to go crazy when he comes home 🙂

  3. Thank you! I have spent the day searching ALL my cookbooks for a recipe like this and couldn’t find one! I’ll be baking these next weekend to send to my husband who is deployed for the holidays this year. I can’t wait to hear what he thinks!

  4. Mmmmm
    These cookies are YUM!
I baked a batch last night for a leaving party at work…..and they have recieved wonderful comments !!

  5. Can I use 2/3 cup or 3/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup? because I think 1/2 cup cocoa little amount. sorry, my english is not so good. thanks.

  6. Made these tonight and they were a hit! They are very chocolatey, but that’s what makes them so great! I didn’t change a thing about the recipe. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Hi!!I was wondering how many grams of chocolate chips are there in one cup??? (I’ve been having some problems with Uk measures…eh..) Thank you!!

  8. Hi Pam! I have been searching for a triple chocolate cookie recipe to try to duplicate (or even be better than) the ones we get at restaurant – I THINK they use Otis Spunkmeyer cookies… but I digress. 🙂
I am wondering/confirming that this recipe will give soft-ish/chewy cookies and not hard crunchy ones? I can’t wait to try your recipe! Thanks!

    1. Cathy,

They turn out soft and chewy for me every time… the key is to make sure not to overcook them. Enjoy!

  9. I made these for a pot lock at work and they were a hit! Absolutely delicious. I am definitely saving this recipe for future baking. For the people that do not like it as cakey, I would suggest flattening out the dough more instead of rolling it in a ball when applying to the baking sheet. It’s so hard to find a good recipe for triple chocolate chip cookies and I’ve obviously found the right one. Thank you so much, Pam!
