Mediterranean Pizza

Mediterranean PizzaI needed to use up some ingredients in my refrigerator but I didn’t feel like cooking so what’s a girl to do? Make pizza. Using store-bought dough and sauce makes this really feel like I am not cooking. I threw some leftover baby spinach, kalamata olives, black olives, sun-dried tomato, feta cheese, red onions, and garlic on this pizza. It turned out delicious – my husband and I both really loved it and so did the kids.

  1. This looks yummy. I always keep a jar of marinated artichokes in the refrigerator just to slice up and throw on top of pizza. I never thought of adding fresh spinach, though.

  2. Can I ask where you buy your pizza sauce from? My husband loves homemade pizza, but we’ve never really found a pizza sauce that he likes; so I just use a simple marinara and it just isn’t the same!

    1. Sarah,

I get pizza sauce from Trader Joe’s and it’s really good but I also like to make my own or use leftover marinara.
