Soy and Honey Marinated Flank Steak

Soy and Honey Marinated Flank Steak

I adapted a recipe I found on Simply Recipes for soy and honey marinated flank steak. The marinade was a snap to put together and made the flank steak taste extra flavorful and delicious. I love the combination of soy, honey, garlic, and red wine vinegar. The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I used my grill pan because I was feeling lazy but I am certain this steak would be amazing if grilled.

How to Make Soy and Honey Marinated Flank Steak

Combine the soy sauce, olive oil, honey, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, and cracked pepper together in a large zip lock bag. Seal and shake to mix thoroughly. Add the flank steak and let marinate for at least 2 hours up to 24 hours.

Remove the meat from the refrigerator at least 20 minutes prior to grilling/cooking. Preheat the grill pan over medium-high heat and coat with cooking spray. Once the pan is hot, add the flank steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it’s cooked to your desired degree of doneness. Let the meat rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain. Enjoy.
