Buttermilk is: the slightly sour liquid left after butter has been churned, used in baking or consumed as a drink.

I am not sure if they would work or not, it is possible because the batter is quite thick. FYI, I got my donut pan for close to $10 at Target.

Might be a dumb question…but can you do these freestyle if you don’t have a donut pan? If you just pipe them into a circle, will the batter hold up or not?

What would I want from Amazon? OH the list goes on and on but right now I am looking at Scandinavian Almond Cake Pan and maybe a couple cookbooks. Love cookbooks!

Thanks for the recipe. I recieved a standard and mini doughnut pan for christmas and I am so looking forward to trying it out with your recipe. The next thing I want to try is making candy using isomalt to make jewels for my daughter’s birthday cake but I have to add the molds and isomalt to my wish list!
