Back home

Boise:

We made it back home from another journey to Idaho – this time for two weeks. We spent a week with my sister, her family, and my parents, in Boise. It was nice to spend the holidays with my family and we managed to spend quality time together with some friends too. The kids had a blast being silly, crazy, and fun together… I had a blast just watching them.

McCalll:

After our time in Boise, we headed to my husband’s mother’s house in McCall to spend a week in the snow. We kept busy all week by sledding, ice skating, skiing, building Lego kits, and watching movies. We were lucky enough to spend some time with my husband’s brothers for a few days too. I really enjoyed working on a puzzle, cooking old favorites for everyone, reading a couple of books, and relaxing. It was a wonderful getaway!

It was a fantastic holiday spent with those we love. I hope you all enjoyed your winter break. I’ll be back to cooking tomorrow.

My sister and I are taking my parents to our extended family reunion in March in the very small town where they all grew up. We are so excited to get the 4 sisters and all of the families back together.
