BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado) Wrap

BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado) Wrap

I think this may be my new favorite way to have a blta. I had a couple of pieces of bacon leftover from this morning’s breakfast so I decided to make a blta. Instead of using bread, I opted for a small flour tortilla. This lunch came together in just a couple of minutes and I loved it. I’ve never had a blta without toasted bread but I actually liked the soft tortilla better. A quick and easy lunch that used up leftovers and tasted fantastic – you can’t beat that!

How to Make a BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado) Wrap

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp; place on paper towels to drain off the excess grease.

Heat the tortilla in the microwave for 15 seconds to make it more pliable. Spread some mayonnaise over the tortilla then place the lettuce down the center followed by the bacon, tomatoes, and avocado. Roll and cut in half if desired. Serve immediately. Enjoy.

    1. and leftover bacon? Ha that just about never happens here! But I guess with 3 teenage boys that’s just how it is 🙂 Love those guys!

  1. There’s no doubt that tortillas make lunch really easy. That looks like a great wrap. As Larry said, BLT is classic and the avocado is a fine addition.

  2. This whole concoction looks yummy to me, but since I’m not fond of mayo., I would smash up the avocado and spread some on the tortilla and assemble the rest. It sounds good enough for me to try real soon! I know that my family will love those too.
