Homemade Hot Chocolate

Homemade Hot Chocolate

This three-ingredient hot chocolate is something my husband has been making since he was ten years old. It’s creamy, slightly sweet, and perfectly chocolaty. He serves it with a bit of whipped cream and a few mini chocolate chips sprinkled on top. Feel free to adapt the recipe to make it sweeter, or more/less chocolaty, and you can make it a little more gourmet by adding a touch of vanilla extract. This drink needs to be tasted while you make it so you will get it just the way you like it. My kids love this hot chocolate and always look forward to their dad making it for them.

  1. Pam and Chad,
This is how my Mom makes hot chocolate… must be a Pritzl or maybe a Miller recipe. I miss having yummy whole milk so my attempts are not as good as I remember…. sigh. Hope you all have a happy 2016. We will see all of you at the next family gathering. Hot chocolate anyone!?
