Dijon Vinaigrette

Dijon Vinaigrette

We always use Fran’s Vinaigrette as our house salad dressing, but I decided to switch things up this week and made this tasty Dijon vinaigrette. I loved the tangy flavors of the vinegar, lemon, and mustard together with the spicy garlic and sweet agave. It was a nice to change from our usual salad dressing and tasted delicious on our simple dinner salad.

How to Make a Dijon Vinaigrette

Combine the red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, agave, lemon juice, and minced garlic together in a bowl. Season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste. Whisk well. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil and the vegetable oil while whisking until well combined. Set aside for flavors to mingle. Whisk before drizzling on your salad. Enjoy.

Side Note: My family loves a very tangy vinaigrette. If you prefer a more subtle flavor, increase the olive oil/vegetable oil, to taste.
