Super Green Smoothie with Green Apple and Banana

Super Green Smoothie with Green Apple and Banana

I normally have a green smoothie every day because they make me feel energetic and healthy. I decided to switch up my regular green smoothie this morning and made this super green smoothie with green apple and banana. The green apple gives this smoothie a nice tart and refreshing flavor while the banana naturally sweetens it up. I made it extra healthy by using a combination of super greens – baby spinach, baby red and green chard, and baby kale. This smoothie tasted really delicious and filled me up.

How to Make a Super Green Smoothie with Green Apple and Banana

Place the super greens, almond coconut milk, ice, Greek yogurt, green apple, and banana into a blender.

Blend very well until smooth and creamy. Drink immediately. Enjoy.

Side Note: The apple gives the smoothie a bit of a grainy texture, which didn’t bother me, but if you prefer smooth and creamy smoothies, try blending this smoothie extra well and strain through a fine sieve if desired.

    1. Sue,

Yes, I use a Blendtec which is amazing. I have also used my immersion hand blender and it works fine.
