Easter Bark

Easter Bark

My kids are no longer interested in coloring Easter eggs but they still love Easter treats. I’ll be honest, it makes me feel a little sad because they are growing up so darn fast! Thankfully, my kids don’t seem too old to enjoy holiday treats so I decided to surprise them with this Easter bark for their school lunch treats this week. I used some almond bark, Easter candy, and sprinkles. So easy. So quick. So tasty. My kids were thrilled and said it’s super tasty.

  1. In elementary school, they used to send lunch menus home. The Thursday before Easter one year, the dessert was “jelly” on one line, and “bean cake” on the next. So I made a cake, sprinkled jelly beans over it, and called it “Bean Cake.” Everyone laughed; I’ve done it again several times. It makes me sad that the fun Easters are past, but happy to have a little reminder of that time. I know how you feel! Your Easter Bark looks great.
