Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings

Crispy oven baked lemon garlic chicken wings are delicious, addictive, and so easy to make!

Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings

We love chicken wings and normally eat barbecue chicken wings or spicy chicken wings but this time I decided to make lemon garlic chicken wings. The wings are baked until crispy then tossed in a lemon garlic butter sauce right before serving. The wings were a big hit with my family and we thought they were crispy, flavorful, and so delicious.

How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Drizzle the oil on the baking sheet and spread it evenly over its surface.

Combine the flour, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt, to taste in a large zip lock bag; seal and mix until well combined.

Add a large handful of wings to the flour mixture and toss until evenly coated. Remove from the flour shaking excess off; place skin side UP on the prepared baking sheet without crowding them. Repeat with the remaining wings. Discard any leftover flour.

Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake the wings undisturbed for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, carefully flip the wings over and continue to bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and place on paper towels to drain grease.

Make the lemon garlic butter by combining the hot melted butter, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and juice in a small bowl; whisk until well combined.

Place the wings in a large bowl then drizzle the well-whisked lemon garlic butter on the wings then toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately with fresh parmesan sprinkled on top, if desired. Enjoy.

  1. We used to eat wings a couple of times a month but for some reason, we rarely eat them now. Like you, we only had a couple of ways we fixed them but I will try these as we like the flavors and baking them is very little mess. I’m headed over to add them to our store list.

The recipe doesn’t tell you what to do with the lemon zest and lemon juice. And it has the word lemon in the recipe name so I am confused.

    1. Tim,

Thank you! I had it correct in the main article but failed to correct the printable version. I have corrected it.
