Ingredients
1tbspbutter
2small onionsdiced
Splash of wine, then water as needed
4ozcream cheesesoftened to room temperature
⅓cupmayonnaise
⅓cupsour cream
Fresh parsleychopped, to taste
Soy sauceto taste
Worcestershire sauceto taste
Instructions
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the diced onions once the butter has melted; stir often.
Once the skillet is getting dry, add a bit of white wine, stir then let it sizzle out.
Stir the onions often, adding a tablespoon of water to keep the pan from drying out as needed, until the onions are caramelized and deeply golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Set aside to cool.
Combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream together in a bowl.
Add the cooled onions and fresh parsley then stir to combine.
Season with a bit of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, to taste.
Place into the refrigerator to allow flavors to mingle for 30 minutes.
