Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-7 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Add the rinsed and drained white cannellini beans, chicken broth, cherry tomato halves, tomato paste, and white balsamic vinegar.
Gently stir until well combined. Simmer for 10 minutes; taste and season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
Add fresh basil then pour into a serving bowl and serve. Enjoy.
