Sesame-Soy Green Bean Sauté

Servings: 4

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 lb green beans ends trimmed
  • Dash of crushed red pepper flakes
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Toasted sesame seeds to taste

  • Heat the sesame oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the green beans, crushed red pepper flakes, and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender and vibrant green. Add the minced garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce and stir to evenly coat the green beans. Sprinkle the tops with toasted sesame seeds. Serve & enjoy.
