Asparagus with Garlic and Lime

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 bunch of asparagus wooden ends removed
  • Juice from 1/2-1 lime to taste
  • 2 small cloves of garlic minced
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste


  • Heat the olive oil and butter together in a large sauté pan. Add the asparagus then cover with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes, depending on how thick the asparagus is (longer if they are really thick). Remove the lid, add the lime juice, minced garlic, and season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Serve with additional lime. Enjoy.
