A Weekend Getaway!
My husband and I left our kids in the trusted hands of their grandparents so we could fly to Colorado to visit two of our dearest friends. We enjoyed the local cuisine, libations, and exploring the beautiful areas of Boulder, Breckenridge, and Keystone (plus a lot of little towns in between). It was a fantastic trip and we enjoyed every second.
THANK YOU SO MUCH to our wonderful friends for hosting such an incredible getaway and THANK YOU SO MUCH to our wonderful parents Fran and Bud for taking great care of our kids! I went through tons of photos today and did piles of laundry. I’ll be back to cooking tomorrow…

What a wonderful getaway! I’m sure you enjoyed every minute of just being a couple and enjoying some adult time while the kids were in very capable hands (and doubtless spoiled rotten, which is the grandparents’ job!).
Great place to visit especially with locals. One of my favorite places on the planet.
