Miscellaneous Christmas sprinkles, stars, and chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
Prep Your Station:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Place the different sprinkles in small dishes for ease of grabbing
Have frosting ready to go
Have Oreo cookies opened and ready to grab
Have a wet tea towel available for quick finger cleanup
Make the Christmas Oreos:
Prepare the dipping chocolate by placing the white chocolate wafers in a glass bowl with 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil then put into the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 20 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 10 seconds. Remove and stir until completely melted. If needed, continue cooking for 10-second increments. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate!
For the Christmas Trees: Dip half the Oreo in the white chocolate then place it directly on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the desired amount of Oreo cookies, allowing the white chocolate to harden.
Prepare the green frosting and pipe thin lines on top of each dipped Oreo cookie using a zig-zag motion, in the shape of an abstract Christmas tree.
Immediately add a star to the top of the tree, chocolate sprinkles for the trunk (if desired), and a few mini sprinkles on the tree. Repeat with the remaining dipped Oreo cookies.
For Christmas Oreos: Dip one entire side of an Oreo in the chocolate and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Immediately decorate with desired sprinkles before the white chocolate hardens.
Allow them to cool and dry completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
