Homemade Baked Cinnamon Mini Donuts with Maple Glaze

Ingredients

flour

sugar

baking powder

cinnamon

milk

vanilla

vegetable oil
Maple Glaze:
2½
cups
of powdered sugar
¼
cup
real maple syrup
1
tbsp
water
if needed
Instructions
Prepare the donut batter
by stirring the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Whisk together the egg, vanilla, and milk, then gradually whisk in the oil.
Add to the dry mixture until combined.
Cook the donuts
by heating the donut maker, then coat it with cooking spray.
Pour a bit of the batter into the center of each donut mold, making sure not to overfill.
Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
Side Note: Cook according to your donut pan's instructions.
Carefully remove the donuts and place them on a wire cooling rack.
Prepare the maple glaze
by whisking the powdered sugar and maple syrup together until smooth and creamy. Add water, if needed, to thin out.
Glaze the donuts
by dipping each top into the glaze and placing them back on the cooling rack.
Sprinkle the top
with nonpareils if desired, then serve immediately. Enjoy.
