Ingredients

of pine nuts
toasted
5
cloves
of garlic

cups
of fresh basil leaves

cup
Parmesan cheese
shredded
½
cup
olive oil
Sea salt and fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Instructions
To make this pesto, use a mortar and pestle, a food processor, or a blender.
In a large skillet over medium heat, toast pine nuts for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
In a food processor, add garlic and pine nuts, then pulse until chopped.
Add basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, then pulse until it's blended.
Slowly pour in the olive oil while the food processor is pulsing, scraping the sides, and pulse again until thoroughly combined.
Taste and re-season with salt and pepper if necessary. Enjoy!
