spears of asparagus
woody ends removed
Olive oil
to taste
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper
to taste

Italian flavored panko

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Remove the woody ends of the asparagus, then place them on the baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over asparagus spears and season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste; toss to coat evenly.
Place into the oven and roast for 10 minutes.
While the asparagus is roasting, toss the panko crumbs with the minced garlic and a dash of olive oil; mix until well combined.
After the asparagus has roasted for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with the panko mixture.
Return to the oven and continue roasting for 3-5 minutes, or until it's crisp-tender. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
