Banana, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Milkshake

I made this banana, chocolate, and peanut butter milkshake recipe for my kids’ after-school snack, and they were thrilled. Freezing the banana slices makes this tasty drink seem like a milkshake with ice cream, but much healthier. My kids were THRILLED with these shakes and drank them up in minutes.
Banana, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Milkshake
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced, then frozen
- ¼ cup of milk chocolate chips melted
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 cup of milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
How to Make a Banana, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Milkshake
Peel and slice the bananas and place them on a plate. Put into the freezer for at least 3 hours.
Place the chocolate chips into a glass bowl and put them into the microwave. Cook for 30 seconds, then stir; cook for an additional 15 seconds, then stir; cook for 10 or so seconds until melted. Don’t overcook! Once the chocolate is melted, add the peanut butter and stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the milk along with the vanilla.
Blend using an immersion blender or blender for 30 seconds or until well combined.
Add the frozen sliced bananas and blend with an immersion blender or blender until creamy and smooth.
Serve immediately. Enjoy.

Love this milshake!
Omy yours kids are lovely and big!
I love this and I love how happy your kids look 🙂
So long as I leave the peanut butter out this sounds yummy. The only thing edible in this world that both of us hate is peanut butter 🙁 Have a good week Diane
Your children are adorable, Pam! I can just imagine how delicious this milkshake is!
I made banana chocolate milkshake before, next time I am going to add some peanut butter! They look yum!
Mark’s been consuming a lot of milkshakes, because I’m trying to keep weight on him, since he’s playing football this year. This sounds like a great offering! Great pictures of your kids, too; hope school is going well for them so far this year.
Geeze aren’t your kids lucky. What a fabulous milkshake. I could drink this flavor everyday.
Who could resist this.
I want this as my after work snack from now on!
