My son has been eating a lot of toasted bread and bagels lately. Knowing he’s a big fan of honey, I decided to treat him to some orange honey butter. My husband received several types of honey for Christmas (a gift from my son), so this was a good excuse to use one of them. This orange honey butter took only a few minutes to whip together and my son LOVES it. He had it on the ultimate banana bread yesterday and plans on having it on pancakes this morning.
With a hand mixer, beat the softened butter together with the honey, orange zest, and orange juice until creamy and fluffy.
Spoon into a glass jar and store sealed tightly in the refrigerator. Spread on toast, pancakes, crepes, French toast, waffles, scones, quick breads, or muffins. Enjoy.
