Manhattan

Manhattan

The last few times I’ve been out to dinner I have indulged in one of my favorite drinks–a Manhattan. It’s smooth, it’s strong, and it’s delicious. I decided to pick up the ingredients so I can make them at home if I want. I’ve always loved the flavor of rye whiskey so I used it for this drink. Splurging on really good cherries for this cocktail is a must because the bright pink maraschino cherries just don’t work. The deep red bing jarred cherries are the best if you can find them.

  1. My grandmother loved Manhattans. I just love the glass. But now I think I need those cherries for something – I don’t know what, but something!
