Sweet and Spicy Steak Rub

Sweet and Spicy Steak Rub

I made this sweet and spicy steak rub recipe because we were all out of our regular dry rub, and I needed to use what I had on hand due to the Coronavirus quarantine. I found a recipe on The Cozy Cook that is supposedly a copycat recipe for the Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub, but since I’ve never eaten at a Texas Roadhouse, I don’t know how close it is. I thought the combination of seasonings sounded good, we had all the ingredients on hand, and it had great reviews, so I used it on the steaks we had for dinner recently. I adapted the recipe to use less salt, and I’m glad I did because this steak rub turned out just right. The rub was sweet, spicy, flavorful, and tasted great on the steaks.
