Swirled White Chocolate Peppermint Bark
I bookmarked this recipe immediately when I saw it on A Southern Grace. My kids were thrilled to have this beautiful swirled white chocolate peppermint bark for their school lunch treat this week and thought it was delicious and totally blog-worthy. This festive treat took only minutes to make and it tastes amazing!! The peppermint white chocolate combined with the dark chocolate and bits of the candy cane is a wonderful combination and a perfect treat for the upcoming Christmas holiday.
How to Make Swirled White Chocolate Peppermint Bark
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the white chocolate in a large microwave-proof dish and the dark chocolate in a smaller microwave-proof glass measuring cup (easier to pour later). Place the dark chocolate into the microwave and cook for 30 seconds; remove and stir.
Place the white chocolate in the microwave for 60 seconds; remove and stir. Repeat the process in 10-second increments for the dark chocolate and 15-second increments for the white making sure to stir well each time. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate!
Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, add the peppermint flavor to the white chocolate and stir well. Pour the white chocolate on the prepared baking sheet then spread it out evenly into a rectangle shape.
Pour stripes of dark chocolate on top.
Take a wooden skewer and drag it through the surface to make swirls.
Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top of the bark immediately. Place into the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to harden and set.
Cut or break into pieces. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Enjoy.
