Christmas Oreos

These festive & cute Christmas Oreos are store-bought Oreo cookies dipped in melted white chocolate and decorated with piped frosting and Christmas sprinkles.

These adorable little Christmas Oreos are an easy and fun project to do with your kids and everyone always thinks they are delicious. These Christmas treats make a tasty & fun gift idea, or holiday treat for your family to enjoy.

How to Make Christmas Oreos

  • Set up your station by Lining a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Place the different sprinkles in small dishes for ease of grabbing
  • Have frosting ready to go
  • Have Oreo cookies opened and ready to grab
  • Have a wet tea towel available for quick finger-cleanup

Prepare the dipping chocolate:

Place the white chocolate wafers in a glass bowl with 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil then put into the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 20 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 10 seconds. Remove and stir until completely melted. If needed, continue cooking for 10-second increments. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate!

For the Christmas Trees:

Dip half the Oreo in the white chocolate then place it directly on the prepared baking sheet and repeat with the desired amount of Oreo cookies, allowing the white chocolate to harden.

Prepare the green frosting and pipe thin lines on top of each dipped Oreo cookie using a zig-zag motion, in the shape of an abstract Christmas tree. Immediately add a star to the top of the tree, a chocolate sprinkles for the trunk (if desired), and a few mini sprinkles on the tree. Repeat with the remaining dipped Oreo cookies.

For Christmas Oreos:

Dip one entire side of an oreo in the chocolate then place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Immediately decorate with desired sprinkles before the white chocolate hardens.

Allow them to cool and dry completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
