Easy Thai Peanut Sauce
This easy Thai peanut sauce recipe is incredibly versatile and can be used as a sauce, marinade, dip, or dressing. Flavorful & delicious and ready in minutes.

I like having peanut sauce on hand to dip fresh veggies in, drizzle over Asian-style salads, and for dipping my vegetable spring rolls in. I decided to try an easy Thai peanut sauce recipe I found on Chili Pepper Madness that sounded tasty. The peanut sauce was ready in minutes and was so flavorful and delicious.
Easy Thai Peanut Sauce
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter ***use ½ cup for stronger peanut flavor
- 2 tbsp Thai red curry paste ***or use your favorite chili-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp chili-garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced or grated
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- ½-1 tsp cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp water, or more as needed for thinning
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, crumbled (optional)
How to Make Easy Thai Peanut Sauce
Whisk the peanut butter, curry paste, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, chili garlic sauce, toasted sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, lime, and cayenne in a small bowl.
Add water a teaspoon at a time until you achieve your desired consistency.
Serve topped with peanuts if desired, and enjoy.
Store leftovers in an airtight sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
