Smoked Salmon Bagel
A smoked salmon bagel topped with garlic herb cheese, capers, onion slices, lots of fresh dill & fresh lemon juice. Perfect for a tasty, breakfast, lunch, or light dinner.
My family loves salmon any way they can get it–raw, cooked, or smoked. I ran across some Nova cold-smoked salmon recently and decided to make some open-faced smoked salmon bagels with it. I slathered the toasted bagel halves with Boursin garlic herb cheese then layered the top with a few thin slices of the smoked salmon followed by slices of red onion, a few capers, fresh dill sprigs, lots of black pepper, and a big squeeze of fresh lemon juice. These open-faced sandwiches were a quick and easy meal to throw together and a big hit with my family.
How to Make a Smoked Salmon Bagel
Toast the bagel then spread a layer of Boursin garlic herb cheese on top of each toasted bagel half.
Next, layer a few very thin slices of smoked salmon on top of the cheese. Finish with a few slices of red onion, some capers, fresh dill sprigs, and lots of freshly cracked black pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy.

I grew up in South Florida and a good bagel with smoked salmon was divine. This one looks fantastic. Boursin cheese is a great way to really pack flavor.
