Instructions
Prepare the candied walnuts by heating a DRY small skillet over medium heat. Add the sugar & let it melt. Once it's turned into a clear liquid, add the walnuts & stir quickly. Remove from heat & place on a plate to cool. They will be stuck together, but once they cool, crush them apart.
Prepare the salad by combining the lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese, pancetta, and pear in a large bowl.
Drizzle the top with some of the well-whisked balsamic vinaigrette, to taste, and toss to coat the salad evenly.
