Ingredients

of butter
softened

of brown sugar

egg

of molasses

of flour

cinnamon

tsp
baking soda

tsp
salt
Turbinado
raw, or white sugar, for rolling
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy.
Add the egg and molasses and mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt, and gently mix.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until well combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and dip them in raw (or turbinado or white) sugar.
Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire cooling rack. Enjoy.
