Ingredients

sweetened flaked coconut
plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired

semi-sweet chocolate chips
plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired

sliced almonds
plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan with butter or cooking spray and line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
In a large bowl, beat the melted butter and sugar with a hand mixer.
Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until well incorporated.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture.
Stir in the coconut, chocolate chips, and almond slices.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle the top with remaining coconut, chocolate chips, and almond slices.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
Let the coconut almond brownies cool on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
