Coconut Almond Brownies
These coconut almond brownies are the tastiest gooey, fudgy brownies filled with coconut, chocolate, and almonds. Rich, decadent, and delicious!
My family loves decadent chocolate desserts so this coconut almond brownies recipe that I found on Chocolate with Grace was a big hit with everyone. These decadent and gooey brownies were easy to make, smelled fantastic as they baked, and made everyone happy.
Coconut Almond Brownies
Ingredients:
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¾ cup sweetened flaked coconut, plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired
- ¼ cup sliced almonds, plus an additional 1-2 tablespoons for topping, if desired
How to Make Coconut Almond Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan with butter or cooking spray and line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
In a large bowl, beat the melted butter and sugar with a hand mixer.
Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until well incorporated.
Add the coconut and chocolate chips and stir once more.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with additional coconut and chocolate chips, if desired.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
Let the coconut almond brownies cool on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
