Ingredients

Bartlett pears
peeled, cored, and diced

fresh lemon juice

cinnamon

vanilla extract
Instructions
Place the diced pear in a saucepan over medium-high heat with the water, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover with a lid, and simmer, stirring occasionally until softened, about 25-30 minutes.
Remove from the heat and blend with an immersion blender (or blender) until smooth and creamy. Serve warm or cold.
Store sealed in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week. Enjoy.
