Butter
to taste

slices
of whole wheat bread
Pizza sauce
to taste
Mozzarella
shredded, to taste
Pepperoni slices
to taste
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Butter one side of a piece of bread then place it into the skillet butter side down.
Spoon some pizza sauce on the bread and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle on some shredded mozzarella, layer it with pepperoni slices, and then a bit more mozzarella.
Lightly butter the remaining piece of bread on one side, spread a bit more sauce on the other side, and place it on top of the sandwich.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
Carefully flip the sandwich with a spatula and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Slice in half and serve immediately. Enjoy!
