Ingredients

tart apples
peeled, cored, and sliced

cornstarch

brown sugar

vanilla

ground cinnamon
Pinch
of salt
Instructions
Heat the butter in a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Add the apple slices and cook, gently stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes.
Combine the water and cornstarch in a small bowl; mix until it's dissolved and pour over the apples.
Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, gently stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and serve warm. Enjoy!
