Orange, Pineapple, and Banana Smoothie
My kids are hot, tired, thirsty, and hungry after swimming lessons so I recently made them a tasty smoothie to cool them down and fill them up after a long afternoon of swimming. I looked in the refrigerator to see what I had on hand and I found pineapple and orange juice; I also spied a ripe banana on the counter and decided to throw that in too. You can’t get much easier than a 4 ingredient smoothie and I can tell you my kids LOVED them. They drank them up in no time and asked for another one the following day – you can’t beat that!
Orange, Pineapple, and Banana Smoothie:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks and any juice
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of ice cubes
How to Make an Orange, Pineapple, and Banana Smoothie
Combine all the ingredients together in a blender and blend for 1 minute or until the ice is chopped up finely and the ingredients are mixed together. Serve immediately. Enjoy.

It's my birthday, so I think that this along with a splash (or two) of vodka will be my drink of choice this weekend! It sounds amazing!!!
This sounds like a quick and delicious school morning breakfast!:)

I just ran across your blog a couple weeks ago.. And let me tell you my family and I ADORE your recipes! Your photography is Ah-Mazing too everything is layed out so nicely! This smoothie recipe sounds & looks delicious! I would love to make it but I just can’t seem to find the right blender.. We have been threw 3 different blenders and they just seem not to work right when I put all the ingredients in it doesn’t bring it to the top it just sits there and looks like its not doing anything , the frozen fruit and ice won’t chop up enough.. Could you recommend any blenders or something that makes smoothies well with frozen fruits and such? The ones I have seen good reviews on are all 400+ and we can’t really afford something like that during these times.. Anything 200 down would be alright. The cheaper the better as long as it WORKS 🙂 I’m sorry to take up your time.. my family loves smoothies and I’m just desperate to find one! If you could tell me what you use or have any recommendations I’d highly appreciate! Again, thanks for all your fantastic recipes! Your blog deserves a 5 star rating! 🙂
Hi Pam,
You know Shannon loves her smoothies and we saw this one. We will give it a try soon. Looks yummy! (as always)
Fantastic post however I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on this topic? I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit more. Cheers!
