Homemade Garlic and Herb Croutons

I had a leftover baguette that was going stale, so I decided to chop it up and turn it into croutons. I seasoned them with basil olive oil, garlic, parsley, sea salt, and freshly cracked pepper. They tasted so good that my kids couldn’t stop eating them. I made a batch of French onion soup for dinner, and I served the croutons on top with some cheese–they were fantastic! I’ll be using the remaining croutons on a loaded garden salad tomorrow. These couldn’t be easier to make, and it’s a great way to use leftover stale bread.
