Sweet and Spicy Steak Rub
I made this sweet and spicy steak rub because we were all out of our regular dry rub and I needed to use what I have on hand due to the Coronavirus quarantine. I found a recipe on The Cozy Cook that is supposedly a copycat recipe for the Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub but since I’ve never eaten at a Texas Roadhouse, I really don’t know. I thought the dry rub sounded really good, we had all the ingredients on hand, and it had great reviews so I gave it a try on the steaks we had for dinner recently. I adapted the recipe a bit by using less salt due to some of the reviewers saying it was too salty and I’m glad I did because this steak rub turned out just right. The rub was sweet, spicy, and very flavorful and tasted great on the grilled steaks.
