Whirlwind Month
It’s been a whirlwind month for us! My husband surprised me with a quick trip to Hawaii! We drove around the island & went to the upcountry to see the agricultural areas, we did lots of Christmas shopping, ate a ton of tasty food, snorkeled with sea turtles, and had the best time even though we both caught colds. This was our first tropical getaway without our kids in 18 years and it was wonderful and so much fun! We made it home to have a fun Christmas with our kids then celebrated New Year’s with two of our very best friends in their new home. It was a fantastic, busy, and fun month but it’s good to be home and I’m looking forward to making some homecooked meals. I’ll be back to posting new recipes tomorrow.
