Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip CookiesOkay, so what’s not to love about peanut butter chocolate chip cookies? I wanted to make a treat for our friends who were watching our kids while my husband and I went on a date. I know chocolate & peanut butter would make my girlfriend very happy so I decided to make cookies and they turned out better than I imagined. These tasty cookies were crisp on the outside and soft & gooey on the inside and I really loved the balance of salty & sweet. Try dipping them in ice-cold milk–so good!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick), softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter (I used creamy)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  2. Your cookies are beautiful. I was browsing Tastespotting as usual and couldn’t help but to click on your picture! Very nice!

  3. Okay, I just finished cleaning up from a (double) batch of these. Please note: if you are home alone, don’t make these until properly supervised, they are far too addicting! Fabulous recipe, thank you, I will need to pass this one along.
