Honey Mustard Thick-Cut Pork Chops

I wanted a quick and simple recipe for some thick-cut pork chops I bought. I found this honey mustard thick-cut pork chops recipe on Taste of Home that looked delicious. I love honey and Dijon mustard–add some garlic, soy sauce, parsley, ginger, and cider vinegar, and you have a tasty marinade! I grilled these pork chops on my grill pan, and they turned out tender, juicy, and so delicious. This easy thick-cut pork chop recipe paired nicely with some stuffed zucchini, garlic rice, and roasted tomatoes.
Honey Mustard Thick-Cut Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 3 pork chops, thick-cut, trimmed
- 2½ tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ tbsp water
- ÂĽ tsp ground ginger

How to Make Honey Mustard Thick-Cut Pork Chops:
Make the marinade by combining the Dijon, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, parsley, garlic, water, and ground ginger in a large Ziploc bag and mix well. Add the pork chops and mix until evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours.
Remove the meat from the refrigerator 20 minutes before grilling.
Cook the pork by heating a grill pan over medium-high heat and coating it with olive oil or cooking spray.
Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.
Remove pork from the skillet and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
Make the sauce by adding the marinade along with a few tablespoons of water to a small saucepan over high heat and bringing it to a boil for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Drizzle the sauce over the sliced pork chops, if desired. Enjoy.
