Lemon and Basil Spaghetti

I made this lemon and basil spaghetti recipe because I wanted to serve a light pasta side dish to pair with the chicken thigh piccata, a simple Italian salad, and some crusty bread that I was making for dinner. It was light, delicious, and paired perfectly with the chicken and salad. I liked how quick & simple this easy side dish recipe was to make–perfect for a busy weeknight.

simple done right is always the best! my favorite is pasta tossed in olive oil steeped with smashed garlic and red pepper flake while the pasta cooks. it’s always in the pantry and it’s always good. always need that reminder every now and then, thanks for sharing!

Great choice! I use to combine lemons with basil quite regularly and putting it onto light pasta is one of my favourite moves. Glad I’m not alone!

I used to make a very similar pasta dish a lot several years ago. But somehow it doesn’t turn out the same with gluten-free pasta…
