Lemon and Basil Spaghetti

Lemon and Basil Spaghetti

I made this lemon and basil spaghetti recipe because I wanted to serve a light pasta side dish to pair with the chicken thigh piccata, a simple Italian salad, and some crusty bread that I was making for dinner. It was light, delicious, and paired perfectly with the chicken and salad. I liked how quick & simple this easy side dish recipe was to make–perfect for a busy weeknight.

  1. simple done right is always the best! my favorite is pasta tossed in olive oil steeped with smashed garlic and red pepper flake while the pasta cooks. it’s always in the pantry and it’s always good. always need that reminder every now and then, thanks for sharing!

  2. Yum! Sometimes the most simple recipes are the most delicious! I imagine this pasta was perfect with the chicken piccata, and that your children loved it!
