Greek Seasoning Blend
I have noticed over the years that I make a lot more Greek-flavored dishes in the summer months, and since it’s been getting so warm outside, I’ve been craving Mediterranean food. When I was looking online for different recipes, I came across one for this Greek seasoning blend on Simply Scratch and I thought the combination of flavors from the different spices sounded delicious. I had most of the spices at home on hand but had to get a few from the bulk bins at my local grocery store. I gathered all of the ingredients together and tossed them into a spice jar and mixed them well. I like that this seasoning blend is full of great flavor without using salt so I can control how much salt we use. Use this seasoning blend on chicken, pork, seafood, pasta, or eggs.

Sounds excellent, saved. Have a good weekend Diane.
I’m with you, Greek seasonings are pretty on simple grilled meats and seafood in the summer.
I always feel like I’m wasting money on the pre-mixed blends when I have so many spices already at home! Love that I can make this from stuff I already have on hand…and it sounds so versatile!
