Boursin Cheese Pasta
This easy Boursin cheese pasta recipe is a simple and flavourful dish that combines sweetened roasted tomatoes, rich, herb-infused cheese, and perfectly cooked spaghetti.
I’ve seen this viral TikTok-inspired Boursin cheese pasta recipe on tons of food blogs for a while now, so I finally decided to make it when I had some leftover Boursin cheese. I cooked the tomatoes, cheese, shallots, and onions in the oven while the pasta baked then tossed them all together to make this delicious and easy Boursin pasta dish. My daughter and I shared this cheesy pasta, and we loved it and thought it was rich and tasty.
Boursin Cheese Pasta
Ingredients:
- Handful of cherry tomatoes
- 1 small shallot, sliced thinly
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, sliced thinly, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- ½ of a 5.2 oz round of garlic and herb Boursin cheese
- 4 oz spaghetti noodles, cooked per instructions, reserving ¼ cup of cooking liquid
- 3 tbsp parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
How to Make Boursin Cheese Pasta
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare the tomatoes & cheese by placing the cherry tomatoes, shallot, and garlic in a small baking dish, then drizzle with olive oil, and season with crushed red pepper flakes, sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste. Toss to coat evenly.
Add the Boursin ½ round to the baking dish, nuzzling it among the cherry tomatoes.
Cook the tomatoes & cheese placing them into the oven to bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package directions in a large pot of well-salted water, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta cooking water for the sauce.
To serve, remove the baking dish from the oven and add the cooked pasta, parmesan cheese, and parsley to the cheese and tomatoes; add some of the cooking water; gently toss to coat evenly then allow it to sit for a few minutes for it to thicken and soak into the noodles.
Gently toss to coat evenly again. Taste the pasta and season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste, if needed.
Serve immediately with fresh parmesan on the side. Enjoy.
