Thousand Island Dressing
Thousand island dressing isn’t just for salads! My family mainly uses it on Reuben sandwiches and burgers but it’s also a great dipping sauce for fries, tots, or onion rings. I found this recipe on Simply Recipes and decided to give it a try because it adds minced onion, lemon juice, and paprika when I normally just combine some mayonnaise, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish. I loved the combination of flavors and my daughter and I both think it’s very tasty. This thousand island dressing is ready to eat as you make it, but allowing the flavors time to mingle in the refrigerator for a while makes it even more delicious.

Looks good Pam. We like to make our own as well and with corned beef day coming up I need to be sure we have some for the reubens.
Love this dressing. Your recipe looks yummy.
I’ve been making TI dressing for years, and this recipe is very similar. I add horseradish to give it a little bite, and mix dill and sweet relish to add that briny quality.
I would love this as a fry dipping sauce! Genius.
