Roasted Sesame Shishito Peppers with Soy Garlic Aioli

Roasted Sesame Shishito Peppers with Soy Garlic Aioli

I made these roasted sesame shishito peppers with soy garlic aioli because my daughter absolutely loves to snack on those tasty peppers. I recently decided to surprise her with these roasted shishito peppers for a snack and paired them with her favorite dipping sauce–soy garlic aioli. I normally saute the peppers in a skillet but decided to try roasting them this time. I tossed them in some vegetable oil and sesame oil then roasted until tender and blistered. I tossed them with some sea salt and served them with the aioli. My daughter happily devoured these roasted sesame shishito peppers and said they were amazing in the aioli.
