Brie, Ham, and Spicy Mango Jelly Grilled Cheese Sandwich
The title may be a mouthful but it’s a delicious mouthful! I was recently sent some bread by Dave’s Killer Bread Company and I was really excited to make a sandwich with it. They sent me a loaf of two of their new types of bread the Seeded Honey Wheat and 100% Whole Wheat. Dave’s is my favorite local bread company and both loaves of bread are so flavorful, delicious, and healthy. Thanks for the amazing bread Dave we all loved both flavors.
My kids had their sandwich on the Seeded Honey Wheat and my husband and I had ours on the 100% Whole Wheat. I made grilled cheese sandwiches with some deli ham, brie, and spicy mango jelly. I cooked it dry (no butter) in a skillet until the bread was golden brown on both sides and the cheese was melted and gooey. My kids liked it but my son didn’t want as much jelly next time and my daughter said it would be better without ham. My husband and I, on the other hand, both loved it just the way it was. The combination of the salty ham with the rich and creamy brie and the sweet and spicy jelly was perfect on the hearty and delicious bread. I love that the sandwich is so quick and easy to make but tastes gourmet and decadent.

Mmm spicy mango jelly?? This sandwich looks dreamy 🙂
The oozing out melted cheese makes me hungry!
One of my favorite sandwiches. Grilled cheese; it is such a versatile sandwich and this is a wonderful version. Blessings dear. Catherine
Wow! This has made me drool…delicious! I will most definitely be recreating this a weekend treat! X
Yes I would like it just the way it was too;-)
The bread looks so delicious, and the sandwich looks amazing! I love that you “dry” grilled it. I have been making my grilled cheese sandwiches that way for years. It is crispier and no greasy fingers!
This sandwich sounds fantastic. Brie and ham is a wonderful combination but that spicy jam just takes it to a whole other level!
Brie is one of my favorite cheese!
I make a semi-similar sandwich with chicken and a mango chutney. So I know this is an absolutely fabulous variation. It’s amazing what the tang of mango does to the over all affect of the sandwich.
Wow, what a great combo for grilled cheese. I had a grilled cheese party once where I came up with all kinds of combos and then cut each sandwich into 4th. It was fun and I sure wish I would have had this sandwich on the menu. Pinned.
Love grilled cheese sandwiches and this one looks extra special.
