White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

For the third treat in the kids’ teachers’ gift plates (the first two treats were the Lemon and Blueberry Bars with a Coconut Crust and Triple Chocolate Cookies). I made pretzels dipped in melted white chocolate and topped with sprinkles. They were fun, easy, and messy to make. The kids had a lot of fun covering them with sprinkles. I loved the combination of sweet white chocolate with salty, crunchy pretzels. They were SO GOOD!
White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels
Ingredients:
- 30 small pretzels
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- Sprinkles
- Wooden skewer
How to Make White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels:
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and cook at half power for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate chips, then continue to cook for 30 seconds, then stir again. If the chips are not melted yet, continue cooking for 20-30 seconds, then stir again. Continue that process until the chips are melted and creamy, while making sure not to overcook them or the chocolate will burn.
Place a large sheet of parchment paper on the counter.
Dip the pretzels, one at a time, in the chocolate using the skewer, then place them on the parchment paper.
Sprinkle each pretzel with the sprinkles immediately, before the chocolate sets.
Let them cool until hardened before serving, wrapping, or eating them. Enjoy!Â

great for halloween treat. give it out as favors for your guests.
What a recipe! It seems delicious!
My sister makes a variation of this using 2 small pretzels with peanut butter between then covered with chocolate and sprinkles. Excellent!
I will not have a microwave. I cook. how do you melt the baking chips in the pot/double boiler?? Thank you
Sheryl,
Place water in the bottom pot and the chocolate in the top pot (double boiler) and cook over medium heat, stirring often, until melted. I hope this helps!
