A few of my favorite recipes
Can I be honest with you? I made a recipe yesterday to post tonight but it just didn’t turn out the way I had hoped and although it was tasty, I don’t think it was blog-worthy. I am going to play around with it for a while and hopefully post it when I feel it’s worthy to share.
I planned on making some new recipes today to share with you but I got busy with my son and his two best pals celebrating my son’s 12th birthday. We first headed to the ice rink for some skating, then stopped off for root beer floats and french fries before heading to an arcade to do some video game playing. I made his requested French bread pizza birthday dinner and peach crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert before heading to the pool for some swimming. They are settling down now and will finish the night off with camping out on the trampoline… I have a feeling they won’t be sleeping much. It’s been a pretty epic day and I hope you understand why I decided to hang out with the kids rather than be in the kitchen creating new recipes.
I will be busy cleaning the house and packing tomorrow before my in-laws come to town to hang out with my kids for a long weekend. My husband and I are flying to Colorado to visit two of the BEST people we know and we can’t wait!! Below is a round-up of a few of my favorite recipes at the moment. I’ll be back to cooking and posting new recipes next week. Cheers!

Know what you mean. sometimes recipes just don’t work out. Love the crepe recipe.
Great selection and I will certainly be trying some of these. Thanks Diane
Life comes before blogging! Glad your son had such a great time. And glad you shared all these wonderful recipes with us — what a neat collection. Thanks.
all your recipes are always delicious Pam !!
It’s more important to spend your son’s 12th birthday with him and his friends than to perfect a new recipe. All of these classics look wonderful. I hope the kids enjoy their grandparents, and that you guys have a terrific trip to Colorado!
you have such an impressive collection of recipes! i’d happily eat every one of these–we have similar tastes!
